We’re a seriously good (and modest too) branding collective called Barefaced Studios. Barefaced Studios is a trading name of In Good Company (London) Ltd., a company registered in England, Company No. 07500563 whose registered office is at The Davies & Davies Building, 3rd Floor, 85 Stroud Green Road, London N4 3EG. The Information We Collect

Our website (www.barefacedstudios.com) is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) adopted by the European Parliament in April 2018 and enforced by May 25th, 2018.

Our website uses Google Analytics (please click here to read their Privacy Policy) to collect and process the following information about you:

• Details of your visit to this website & the resources that you accessed; including, but not limited to: traffic data, location data, hardware and software being used and other communication data. None of this information allows us to identify you specifically as an individual.

Use of Cookies

As mentioned above, we gather information about your computer for our services and to provide statistical information regarding the use of our website.

The information does not identify you personally. It’s statistical data about our website visitors and their use of the Barefaced Studios website. This statistical data does not identify any personal details whatsoever – for all we know you could be Cher, Trump or Danny DeVito.

We’re gathering information about the use of our website by using a Cookie file. You’ve probably heard about Cookies as loads of businesses have been using them for many years (you’ve probably seen hundreds of those pop-up ‘Cookie Notices’ when you first log on to a website). Cookies are downloaded to your computer’s hard drive automatically. They help us improve our website and the service that we provide to you. Essentially, these little files (that you won’t notice), help make things better for you. Unfortunately you can’t eat them.

Use Of Your Information

Any information we collect and store directly relating to you is primarily collected when you email us.

• To provide you with information requested from us, relating to our products or services. Which is pretty important really, or we can’t send you a quote, help you with your brief or tell you about the amazing new coffee place in Hackney (it’s really good).
• To provide information on other products or services which we feel may be of interest to you.
• To meet our contractual commitments to you.
• To notify you about any changes to our website, such as improvements or service/product changes, that may affect our service.

Data that is provided to us is stored very carefully on secure cloud-based servers. We take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that all data is treated securely.

Unfortunately the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure (which you’re most likely aware of anyway), therefore we can’t guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically. We might be trustworthy but the World Wide Web is a bit shifty looking and can’t always be relied upon. As such, transmission of such data is therefore sent entirely at your own risk.

If we notice a data breach we will report it immediately to the DPO.

What Measures Do We Take To Protect Your Data

These are some of the measures we take when collecting, holding, and processing your personal data:

1. All members of staff, contractors, or other parties working on behalf of us are made fully aware of both their individual responsibilities and of our Privacy Policy (which we tell them they have to read and abide by or it’s hasta la vista, baby).
2. Only members of staff, contractors, or other parties working on behalf of us that need access to, and use of, personal data in order to carry out their assigned duties correctly shall have access to personal data held by us.
3. All of our team are trained in how to correctly handle personal data.
4. Methods of collecting, holding, and processing personal data will be regularly evaluated and reviewed by us.
5. All personal data held by us shall be reviewed periodically.
6. All contractors or other parties working on behalf of us who must handle personal data must ensure that any and all of their employees who are involved in the processing of personal data are held to the same conditions as our employees and abide by our Privacy Policy and GDPR.
7. Where any contractor or other party working on behalf of us handling personal data fails in their obligations under this Policy that party shall indemnify and hold harmless In Good Company (London) Ltd. against any costs, liability, damages, loss, claims or proceedings which may arise out of that failure.

What The Law Says

In line with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) adopted by the European Parliament in April 2018 and enforced by May 25th, 2018 any data we process or store on you must;

2. Be obtained only for specified, lawful purposes.
3. Be adequate, relevant and not excessive.

5. Not be held for any longer than required.
6. Be processed according to the rights of the data subjects (that’s you – you’re the rather charmingly named ‘data subjects’ – sounds a bit dystopian doesn’t it?).
7. Be protected accordingly.
8. Not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), unless the destination complies with adequate protection criteria.

1. Have access to the information that we hold about you.
2. Rectify/update the information that we hold about you.
3. Erase the data or be forgotten (less creepy than it sounds).

5. Object to how your data is processed.
6. Manage the portability of your data.

CCTV

If you come and visit us (we’ll make the tea if you bring the biscuits) you’ll notice that there are CCTV cameras in areas of our office building. The purpose of the CCTV, which is recorded and records both image and audio, is for the security and safety of you and our team, as well as for the security of our team and the premises. CCTV and recordings may be used on occasion for team training. If a crime happens the CCTV recordings will also be handed over to the relevant authorities.

Access Or Changes To Or Removal Of Information

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, challenge, object and migrate the data we hold on you. The data we hold on you might be as dull as just your email address. Nevertheless, you can find out if you wish.

To make things as simple as possible we’ll break it down for you: you can ask us what data we hold on you and you can request to update or remove partially or wholly the data we hold on you (as long as it’s not data that we legally have to hold on to). We’re a really tiny independent company – so we’d be really grateful if we didn’t receive loads of requests – but if you’re really concerned do get in touch!
